I had fun at this event, I want more, what do I do now?
Cyber Range events are fun, but they are just a small piece of a training program to help raise our awareness and skills in cybersecurity. It’s very common to really want to continue hacking more and more challenging ranges after getting your feet wet in an event, welcome to cybersecurity!
Most of our events are hosted by an organization or company as part of their training plan for their employees, and so most of the time you will need to check with your internal event organizer and advocate for more events to be hosted in the future. If you have done a Cyber Range event through your organization, there is a good chance you also have our Courses – check those out and brush up for your next event!
We do host public events fairly frequently throughout the year at different conferences and OWASP chapter meetups. The best place to find out about those opportunities to participate in another Cyber Range experience is on our community page at community.securityinnovation.com:
You can even join our mailing list at https://community.securityinnovation.com/public-cyber-range-events/ to stay up to date with our public events calendar.
OWASP.org has some wonderful free resources about specific types of attacks as well as great cheat sheets on prevention and mitigation of the types of attacks you learned about in the Cyber Range. They also have nationwide chapters that you can join to further your professional network.
If you are with an organization that has not yet purchased our Cyber Range access, please reach out to your BDD or visit us at https://www.securityinnovation.com/about/contact-us/
Thank you for joining us and we can’t wait to see you in a future event!
